WANTED: EMERGING DEVON FILMMAKERS!

Are you a filmmaker based in Devon? Do you have an innovative short film idea which you'd like to see made a reality? Are you interested in exploring new approaches to digital format? Do you feel you are ready to make the leap to a more ambitious/semi-professional level of short filmmaking? If you’ve answered yes to all these questions, read on...

Exeter Phoenix Media Centre is now inviting applications for up to two projects from film-makers based in Devon. You can apply either as a team made up of a writer and director or as an individual writer and/or director. Live action films and documentaries can be a maximum of 15 minutes and animation can be a maximum of five minutes duration. Any genre will be considered, although we are looking for ideas which are suitable for a range of distribution platforms.

These opportunities are part of Digital Shorts, run by South West Screen and the UK Film Council in association with Exeter Phoenix Media Centre, Somerset Film and 4mations.
